Cyril was admitted to the Nigerian Bar (BL) in 2009. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree  (LL.B Hons.) from University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 2008. He also earned a Bachelor of Philosophy degree (B.Phill) from the same university in 2003.
